When Should a Partial Clip be Applied?
Ideal for long haired cats that do not require a radical clip but need a little more than just maintenance.
The partial clip procedure has 3 main stages:
- Diagnosis
- Treatment
- After Treatment

1. Diagnosis
Fortunately, the problem with this cat was less severe than the cat featured on the radical page as it only required a belly clip and partial clipping of the body. The remainder of the cat was stripped and a good quality dry/grooming powder was applied.
2. Treatment
The belly uncarriage is clipped, and all the knotted and matted hair and fur are removed before the dry / grooming powder is applied.
3. After Treatment
After the matted hair has been removed and the grooming procedure has been completed, we have a beautifully groomed and much happier cat.
