Partial Clip

Our partial clipping process applies to cats that have less severe problems or that needs a little more than just maintenance, and usually includes grooming with powder.

Throughout any aspect of grooming the tolerance level of the cat varies and I'm continually aware of the stress factor, making every effort to minimise trauma and distress.

The Procedure: Here’s a visual example of a partial clip cat grooming procedure.

Diagnosis - Fortunately the problem with this cat was less severe than the radical - it only required a belly clip and partial clipping of the body. The remainder of the cat was stripped and a good quality dry / grooming powder applied.

Treatment - The belly uncarriage is clipped, and all the knotted and matted hair and fur are removed before the dry / grooming powder is applied

After treatment - After the matted hair has been removed and the grooming procedure has been completed we have a beautifully groomed and much happier cat.
