Taking into consideration the stress levels of the cat, I work in their familiar surroundings and I never use anaesthetic. Vet referred, my grooming is of the highest standard and for the cat’s own comfort the majority of my work is lap work. Whilst grooming, I do occasionally use a cat muzzle to protect their face from the heat of the dryer, and also to protect myself from the cat’s mouth!
